Staff and students plant, care for and harvest a wide variety of vegetables, which the cooks use in creating delicious meals for the Pendle Hill community. Our sustainably built greenhouse allows us to start some plants indoors. This spring work began on a new hoop house which will allow us to grow plants into the colder months. Work in the garden continues throughout the summer, when participants in the Young Adult Leadership Development Program get involved. Pendle Hill also taps maple trees for syrup.
