Pendle Hill Chorus
In honor of 20 years of beautiful choral music, please plan to join director Jackie Coren and members of the Pendle Hill Chorus from three different decades for a celebration sometime during Fall 2013. People at all levels of singing experience may participate in the Pendle Hill Chorus and sing in a concert at the end of the Resident Program term. The Chorus is directed by Pendle Hill alum Jacqueline Coren, who is assisted by accompanist Fred Crumrine. This is a wonderful opportunity for Resident Program participants and Pendle Hill staff to join in song with off-campus community members. Rehearsals take place Wednesday evenings 7:30-9:00 pm in the Barn beginning the first week of each term: September 26, January 9, and April 3. No audition is required. Each term concludes with a concert and reception on the last Wednesday of each term (December 5, March 13, and June 5) at 8:00 pm in the Barn.
"We work hard and have a good time!”
Jacqueline Coren teaches music at George School in Newtown, PA, and was recently the artistic director of the nationally recognized Anna Crusis Women's Choir in Philadelphia. She founded the Pendle Hill Chorus in 1992.
