“By the rigor of knowledge many participants in the Resident Program have been greatly enriched. By the rigor of love many have been transformed.” - From the article Meeting for Learning by Chris Ravndal
Pendle Hill offers courses every year in Quakerism, discernment, the Bible, arts and spirituality, peace and social justice, organic gardening, and conscious use of the body. Each term three or four termlong courses meet once a week. Our termlong courses allow the time needed for thoughtful reading, spiritual discernment, meaningful discussion, and building a supportive community among class participants. Pendle Hill’s short courses and weekend workshops and retreats include people who live off-campus. Participation in two weekend events is included in the Resident Program. Resident students may take short courses and additional weekend workshops and retreats for an extra fee.
