Fall 2009 Lectures
Who Do You Say That I Am?
Tuesday evenings from October 13 - December 8, 2009, from 7:30 - 9 pm in the Barn.
The Pendle Hill Bookstore will be open before the lectures. For dinner or room reservations, call 610-566-4507.
Jesus asked his disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” Friends from different branches of Quakerism speak to us about who Jesus is for them, emphasizing personal experience, and how this understanding affects the way they lives their lives. Lectures will be followed by questions and answers as well as responses from the audience.
The series supplements a term-long course of the same title, taught by Cadbury scholar Mary Lord.
