Against the Cultural Current

Integrating Passion, Money, Leadings, Wisdom, and Doing the Laundry
Having grown up as a "third culture kid," Jens Braun has an acute awareness that many defining aspects of our lives come from our world view and culturally imposed norms. Today he and his family are creating an alternative way of life through the establishment of the Quaker Intentional Village in Canaan, New York. Issues that come up in doing this work concern our relationship to energy, time, place, fear, our gifts, the creation, and the tools at our disposal. Jens invites us to consider leaving behind our focus on survival and healing in order to live in a world where full life and health is the natural state of being.
