Spring: A Season of the Spirit
March 31 - June 7 Spring 2013
Doug Gwyn and others
The seasons exert powerful influences on our spiritual lives. Spring is a season of rebirth, renewal, and liberation in many ancient and modern traditions, ranging from Passover to Easter-Pentecost, Earth Day, Beltane, and May Day. The rhythms of work, worship, and study in community at Pendle Hill magnify the power of each season.
This course aims to help participants experience more consciously the season of spring 2013 through journal-writing, outdoor activities, reading, and class discussions. We will engage with Pendle Hill's trees, kitchen, garden, and current concerns for peace, justice, and the integrity of creation.
