Eileen Flanagan, author of Listen with Your Heart and God Raising Us
This course offers the opportunity to practice spiritual discernment as we seek greater clarity about how we may be called to live and work in the world. We will learn about leadings, practice attentive openness to divine guidance, and support one another in waiting and faithfulness.
Classes will include time for experiential exercises as well as discussion. Outside of class participants will meet in small groups to share their journeys.

Eileen Flanagan has taught Discerning Our Calls and other courses in the Pendle Hill Resident Program for years. Spiritual discernment has been a theme of her writing. Her first book, Listen with Your Heart: Seeking the Sacred in Romantic Love, began as a Festival Week presentation during her time as a Pendle Hill resident staff member in 1993.
