Doug Gwyn Doug Gwyn is the Quaker Studies teacher at Pendle Hill. A well-traveled Friend, he has worked for the American Friends Service Committee and served among Friends as a pastor and a teacher at the Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre in Birmingham, England as well as at Pendle Hill.

Doug is a student of early Quakerism and has written several books and articles on early Friends, including Apocalypse of the Word, The Covenant Crucified, and Seekers Found. His most recent book is Conversation with Christ.  He is currently finishing a history of Pendle Hill.
