How to make a Gift

Annual Fund
Your unrestricted gift to our Annual Fund supports all the programs of Pendle Hill and is used in the year in which it is received. You may give to Pendle Hill by cash, check, credit card, direct deposit through your bank account, or transfer of securities. Your gifts are tax deductible. If you donate appreciated securities, you will also avoid the capital gains tax that would have applied had you sold the securities. Make a Gift Now

Gifts Designated for a Specific Purpose
Donations may be designated for a specific purpose, including scholarships, special programs, and capital projects. Scholarship funds provide tuition assistance for Resident Program students and Service Scholars. Scholarship funds also provide financial assistance for those unable to pay the full fees in our weekend workshops and short courses. Special donations for specific programs and capital needs are also welcome. Contact the Development Office to learn more about special gift opportunities at contributions@pendlehill.org

Bequests and Life Income Gifts
You can provide a legacy for the future by a gift through your will or a gift through one of our life-income plans. A bequest will provide meaningful support to Pendle Hill in the future and ease the burden of estate taxes for your heirs. Life income gifts will provide you tax benefits at the time you make the gift as well as lifetime income on the assets you give. A charitable gift annuity, for instance, will pay you a guaranteed, fixed annual income for your lifetime. A charitable remainder trust offers you the option of creating an individual income arrangement that suits your particular circumstances.
