This integrated spiritual and physical approach to the system of Reiki will help the new or returning student to clarify the origins and access the deep energetic basis of this healing practice. Upon completion students will receive a Reiki Level I practitioner certificate.
Adult Learning and Spiritual Transformation

Identify possible links between the Quaker process of discernment and the hallmarks of adult learning and development, such as a toleration of uncertainty, changing ideas of authority and self, and the ability to think critically. Consider scenarios that often arise in Quaker settings and practice designing learning experiences that encourage transformation.
Lives of Service: A Working Retreat

Join the Pendle Hill maintenance team and spiritual nurturer Bob Denison for a weekend of fun, service, and fellowship around work projects to prepare Pendle Hill for the fall. Projects will be weather-dependent and may include outdoor painting projects, work on the grounds, sprucing up the outside of buildings, and work of the household. Learn new skills or practice old ones.
