Come to learn, reflect and take pleasure in “Art Journaling: Painting the Life Line.” Discover how the meaning of where you are in the present moment might be deepened by a colorful prayer practice. We will enter the painting process in silence and in prayer. We will reflect on our lives from the beginning to the present moment. Journaling exercises will help us describe our experience and further illustrate what we see in our work. This program is open to anyone who is interested in weaving their prayer and reflection with art-making. No particular art-making experience or skill level is required.

Nancy SantamariaNancy Santamaria holds a master’s degree in both art and spirituality and a certificate in bereavement care and clinical pastoral education. She works full time as a spiritual director. Nancy has taught art journaling to groups in spiritual direction. She frequently brings art and spirituality programs to retreats for Christian and interfaith retreat groups. Her own art reflects a love of nature, dance, and weaving prayer and spiritual topics with art.
