The Friends Economic Integrity Project presents an evening on emerging movements – the Green New Deal, the Sunrise Movement, and the movement for public banking. These movements are beginning to knit a variety of race, climate, justice, and democracy issues together. Several local Friends will share how they are engaging at the intersection of these issues and bringing their faith values into the work. There will be an opportunity to reflect on what we can learn from these connections and how we might bring greater joy, clarity, faithfulness, and power to our engagement with this critical work in the world.
