FROM DIANE GORDON’S ARTIST’S STATEMENT:

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth His handiwork” – Ps 19:1. Creation is declaring with its whispers and shouts: there is a God. As a photographer, I am privileged to hold my camera to capture these declarations, but God is the real artist. My desire is to make photos that capture creation in such a way that will inspire and encourage people to stand in awe of the God that created the heavens and the earth (Col 1:18).

In May 2017, I traveled to Guilin, China with a small group of photographers. We visited and stayed in rural villages – seemingly from another place and time. Totally immersed in the culture, we ate with and photographed many of the villagers in their homes. The mountains, the rivers, and the rice terraces also provided a surreal and perfect terrain for landscape photography. The environmental portraits and landscape impressions reflect my impressions of being immersed in this ancient culture.

Diane H. Gordon is an inspirational speaker, Bible teacher, mentor of women, and photographer. In 2005, her passion for picture taking was ignited when she was privileged to capture a Hawaiian sunrise. As a speaker, Diane speaks to others about the greatness of God; however, through her photography, Just For His Glory Prints, God’s creation speaks of His greatness and majesty without a word being uttered..
