Synopsis

This 8-page tract (which, as the title indicates, serves as a general introduction to the Religious Society of Friends), was adapted from a Pendle-Hill-On-The-Road presentation in Newbury, Vermont, November 2-3, 1990. The author, Gordon Browne, is an active supporter of Pendle Hill. He was a Board member from 1982-1992 and was for many years executive secretary for Friends World Committee for Consultation, Section of the Americas, the organization which fosters communication and maintains liaison among Friends worldwide.
