About the Author(s)

Elaine Pryce originally qualified as a teacher specializing in multicultural education. As a result, some of her most formative life experiences and learning have derived from the cultural and spiritual wisdoms of migrant and indigenous people and cultures she has lived and worked with, both overseas and in the United Kingdom. Her journey on the inner way began with a Papuan priest, who advised her, as a young VSO (Peace Corps) teacher, to “find God within; say ‘Yes’ to the divine life within you.” The consequence of his advice has comprised a lifelong exploration for her.

She has journeyed as a Quaker attender and member for 29 years and is a member of Chester and Wirral Area Meeting in the U.K.
