Cancellation Policy
Workshops and Events
In order to cover our administrative costs, a 15% (up to $50) processing fee will be charged for all cancellations. In addition, the following rules apply:
- Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the start of the program will result in a refund.
- Cancellations made between one and 14 days before the start date of the program will result in a credit toward another Education program or sojourner stay at Pendle Hill up to one year after the cancellation date.
- No credit or refund will be given for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the program begins, or in the event that you leave early for any reason or do not participate at all.
- Cancellation forfeits any Pendle Hill scholarships that had been applied to an individual’s registration, and individuals will need to re-apply for scholarship assistance for future programming.
Pendle Hill reserves the right to cancel any program at any time. If this occurs, the processing fee will be waived. Pendle Hill is not responsible for any travel or incidental expenses incurred as a result of its cancellation.
If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible by emailing the Registrar at registration@pendlehill.org.
Personal Retreats and Sojourns
If for any reason Pendle Hill must cancel your reservation, you will be reimbursed in full if a deposit has been made. If no deposit has been made, you will not receive any charges to the card held for your reservation.
We understand that life can throw situations at us that we may not anticipate. Pendle Hill observes a lenient cancellation policy that gives guests the flexibility to cancel their reservation up to the same day of their anticipated check-in. If guests have not arrived by same day of check-in and have not given written request for cancellation to info@pendlehill.org or verbal request for cancellation to staff by calling and leaving a voicemail at (484) 234-4500, then Pendle Hill holds the right to charge the reservation holder for one night’s stay for the expected income of the reservation.
