The Reading Room
CONFERENCE SERVICES DURING COVID-19: While Pendle Hill’s campus is not fully open, we are opening to a limited number of personal overnight sojourns – as well as possibly hosting small conference groups – between June 14 and August 25, 2021. If you have a small group (5-15) that would like to gather for a few days this summer, please contact the Conference Sales Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org to check on availability and pricing. Dates after September 1, 2021 are also available for conference groups; please use the e-mail address listed above for all conference inquiries.
If you are interested in a personal sojourn, click here to find out details and to express your interest – a Pendle Hill staff member will be in touch to answer your questions and finalize your reservation. Updates regarding our full campus opening will be shared on our website and in our eNewsletter as details are finalized.
Located in Main House at the center of our campus, the Reading Room is a comfortable and welcoming space for up to 20 guests. Its assortment of comfortable couches and chairs, deep windows, and proximity to the dining facilities make it a favorite spot on campus. The Reading Room works well for smaller workshops, receptions, and meetings.
Wireless internet available. Meeting room capacity: 20.
There are facilities for coffee, tea, and snacks in Main House. Groups using the Reading Room arrange to take meals in the Reading Room itself or in the community dining room at Main House.
Two additional private dining spaces are available.
Overnight accommodations are generally available at Main House, Waysmeet, or Chace. Please visit our Overnight Accommodations page for more options.
Audio/visual support services and wireless internet connectivity are available.
