Synopsis
Quakers today live with this challenge, just as Friends have lived with variants on it since the beginning of our Society. Do we use different language to describe similar experiences, or does each of us have fundamentally different experiences that lead us to identify as Quaker? And what are the implications of this for the unity and diversity of our meetings? God, Words and Us has been produced to help Friends explore the ways we speak about our deepest religious and spiritual experiences. It offers material and ideas, as well as modeling a process for further exploration.
