Synopsis
Listening is integral to Quakerism. Whether in Meeting for Worship, conversing one-on-one, making decisions in community, or discerning what action is right for us, we need to listen to spirit, to the still, small voice within.
Listening as Quaker Practice examines experiences of good listening in worship and daily life, and looks at the implications of listening better. It includes an extensive guide to activities for individuals and groups, and a selection of Quaker accounts of good listening. How wonderful it would be if we could all listen better!
