Synopsis
Written for those studying – or contemplating studying – the “Experiment with Light.” John Lampen’s Seeing, Hearing, Knowing has chapters on the message of George Fox, the origins of the Quaker movement, the experiences of some Light Groups, answers to questions, and difficulties that these groups have found. There are also chapters linking the practice to worship, prayer, discernment, and political action. Contributors come from Britain, New Zealand, Sweden, and different Quaker traditions within the United States.
