Synopsis
There is something to be said for a character that has outlived its author for so long that they accomplish what so many villains and flawed heroes have sought in fiction; life eternal. What they do with that indefinite existence is governed by the decisions of new creators.
Some of these decisions are opportunistic and executed in pursuit of easy money. But what delights us are the stories that illuminate abiding love for what those characters and stories mean to so many of us. They are dreams, passed down from creator to reader to creator and so forth…
And sometimes those dreams collide in our heads.
This collection is about those collisions.
“9 tales of unlikely meetings from the authors of The Lights from Distant Bonfires,” with beautiful illustrations by Bunny Boughamer.
