Synopsis
It’s only humane for us to avoid uncomfortable situations in life because we think we have legitimate reasons for doing so. When our life hits the unforeseen and unpredicted “dry seasons” it becomes very hard to recoup. We become faced with rejection, abandonment, unforgiveness, the dreaded silence of God, the darkness of depression, suicidal thoughts and tendencies, and hopelessness.
The truth is, it’s not that bad!
Dry seasons are also places where God wants to meet with us. It’s where we learn to trust him, pray, and be sensitive to his voice. I’ve learned by experience that dry seasons are pivotal in one’s life. It helps us to revisit our visions, who we are in God, redefine and receive clarity about what God has called us to do, and who he has called us to be.
In this book, I want to encourage you as you go through your dry seasons, don’t just pray to get out, pray to find God’s will. It’s not just a dry season, it’s a place of encounter and the supernatural.
As you indulge, you’ll read about my experiences from wanting to give up after facing horrendous loss, what I felt was a failure, to beginning to engage the angelic realm as I developed intimacy with God.
