Soul Quake, a powerful collection of spirit-filled poems spanning 37 years of the author’s experiences, is a healing balm for the times in which we are living. Using her coming-of-age experiences against the backdrop of the 1965 Watts Rebellion, Hamilton has created a poetic jewel framed by exquisite drawings by E. J. Hobson.
