This program is a collaboration between Pendle Hill and Spadework, a school for organizers to reverse the diminution of organizing practice in the United States.

Identifying and developing your base.

ABCs of Leadership Development:
Deepening commitment to build your organization.

Historical Case Analysis:
Interactive analysis of campaign & strategy

The Heart of Organizing:
Relationships and the link between individual and collective transformations.

Through intensive in-person trainings and field support for aspiring organizers and their organizations, supported by a cohort of mentors oriented towards an accompaniment strategy, Spadework helps to establish a baseline of rigor in organizing practice and a conducive movement culture that can sustain organizing for the long haul.
