O, Mystery! Music for the Soul

The Pendle Hill Community Chorus offers its winter concert on Wednesday, Dec 18 from 8:00 to 9:00pm, in Whittier Room at Swarthmore Meetinghouse.  Directed by Jacqueline Coren, chorus and soloists will sing offerings from “Mystery” from Missa Gaia: Earth Mass. Other offerings will be varied and will include music by Rosephanye Powell, Herbert Howells, G.F Handel, Bobby McFerrin, and others.

As is traditional, there will be opportunities for audience participation during the concert as well as in our “audience-choice” sing-along that concludes the program. The evening is child-friendly, both in content and length.  Please join us!

The Pendle Hill Chorus was founded in 1993, gathering a broad range of singers of diverse backgrounds from throughout the tri-county area. The Chorus offers two concerts a year, in May and December, and all are invited to join without audition.
