Synopsis
How does one find meaning and healing following the suicide of a loved one? Hannah Russell, whose terminally-ill husband ended his own life, offers insights gleaned from her own journey. She provides wisdom, comfort, and challenging questions to Friends and Friends meetings as we consider our attitudes and ministries for those at the end of life, for their survivors, and for ourselves. Hannah Russell became an attender of Port Townsend Friends Meeting in 2001 and a member in 2003. She still lives in the home she and her husband built in 1999 and now shares with another Friend. She hopes to remain in the home and the community she loves for the remainder of her life. She is mother and stepmother to six adult children, grandmother to seven, and great-grandmother to two.
