Synopsis

This book seeks to describe how Quaker beliefs are put into practice in the everyday life of a school community. Faith and Practice at a Quaker School has been compiled by Graham Ralph who taught at Bootham School, York, U.K. from 1980-2012. Chapters concentrate on meeting for worship;, the responsibility of the individual; truth and integrity; equality, peace, and conflict; simplicity, service, and stewardship; decision making; learning; living in a community; Quaker terminology; and Quaker meetings and membership.
