Synopsis
Is it possible for texts and images in clay and stone, unearthed from Mesopotamia’s ruins, to open the way to achieving relief from humanity’s profound trouble? This book proposes that the ancient relics might do just that. Finding Our Long Way Home suggests ways (based in recent advances in psychology) to escape our unending suffering in war, exploitation, tyranny, and environmental disturbance, and to work toward the kind of society for which we yearn.
