“…and Dawn Has Begun” is the theme of this season’s Pendle Hill Community Chorus concert, Wednesday evening, June 13 from 8:00 to 9:00 pm in the Barn meeting Room at Pendle Hill.
Directed by Jacqueline Coren, the chorus, along with guest soloists, will sing music to touch hearts and lift spirits. Among the offerings will be music by Ennio Morricone, Ysaye Barnwell, and Violeta Para. The evening will conclude with a community sing-along and refreshments. The program is entirely child-friendly, both in content and length.
Musical Director Jacqueline Coren retired recently from The George School, where she taught music, directed the student and community choruses, and was music director for school musicals for the past 23 years. Jackie founded and has directed the Pendle Hill Community Chorus, now in its 25th year.
