The "Be We Whole" exhibit will be displayed October 11, 2023 – February 26, 2024 in the Pendle Hill Barn Gallery.
Oct 24, 2023
The Be We Whole exhibit is a meaningful prayer of the Joined Hands Artists Collective. It is an affirmation of our collective existence as together we strive toward wholeness. Be We Whole represents an inclusivity that is the sum of all our intersections, rendering creative dialogue, acceptance, compassion, peace, and love. Our title also connects with Ferron Foisy’s song, “Testimony,” which includes the refrain:
But by my life be I spirit
And by my heart be I woman
And by my eyes be I open
And by my hands be I whole
Reception will be in the Barn, and all are welcome to attend. Meet with the artists and learn more about their works hanging in the gallery space.

Exhibiting Artists
The Joined Hands Artists Collective was founded in 2012 by Elke Hildegard Muller, with three other members of the Fellowship of Quakers in the Arts. Over the years we have had 15 members, with three of the original four members still active in the collective. We are all Quaker or Quaker-friendly artists who create through various media: art quilts, fiber art, painting, photography, ceramics, mixed-media, book arts, and literary arts. Our collective meets monthly to share our works-in-progress with one another, to teach each other skills, and to attend events.
