Pendle Hill was honored to host approximately 75 alumni and supporters of Quaker Voluntary Service (QVS) for a reunion and celebration of ten years growth and visioning what the future holds for the organization. Participants honored Christina Repoley (pictured left), whose vision and faithfulness (supported and shaped by other Friends) gave birth to and nurtured QVS and welcomed Hilary Burgin (right) as she stepped into her role as executive director.
During the celebration, alumni and supporters had an opportunity to contribute photos to a timeline clothesline marking each of the ten years of QVS’s history.
Part of the weekend together was devoted to alumni-directed workshops and a visioning session in which participants were invited to imagine a world transformed with the help of QVS fellows.
