The Time is Now: Music for the Current Era

The Pendle Hill Chorus invites new members for an exciting spring season!

Singing since 1993, we have been a non-audition ensemble, welcoming all – from the beginner to the more experienced. The ability to read music, while helpful, is not required.

Our repertoire of sacred and secular music from around the world is challenging yet accessible through audio/visual learning material.

This season, our music will pay homage to the beauty and promise of Spring, as well as open and lift our hearts and minds to the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who calls us to respond to the challenges of our time, “the fierce urgency of now.”

Rehearsals: Wednesday evenings, 7:00pm-8:30pm, on Pendle Hill’s campus.

First Rehearsal: Wednesday, February 28, 2024, 7:00-9:00pm (extended timeslot for this date only).

Concert Date: Wednesday, May 8, 2024, 8:00pm (location TBA).

Pay as led and able.

The Pendle Hill Chorus remains committed to welcoming all interested singers, and nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. However, as we strive to invest in the sustainability of Pendle Hill and compensate the labor that goes into facilitating the chorus (including the direction and accompaniment), we invite singers to register and pay as they are led and able. In Jewish tradition, the number 18 represents life. We suggest the prices below in the spirit of investing in the life of our community, but we invite you to choose whatever fee is right for you.
