The first dough interns learn to make in the Pendle Hill kitchen is pizza dough. It’s a great slow fermentation and everyone gets interested when someone says pizza. Join us on any given Friday for a taste of the results!
Makes 2 Large pizzas
6 cups / 900 g flour
1 tablesoon / 18 g salt
1 tablespoon / 12.5 g sugar
½ teaspoon /1.5 g instant yeast
3 cups / 675 g room temp water
Mix dry ingredients , add water and stir until it comes together and kneed lightly .
Oil a bowl, place the dough in it and cover with plastic wrap .
Let rise for 4 hours, then top with your favorite sauce and toppings and bake at approximately 400 degrees for approximately 20 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
