We are happy to announce that we have completed renovations at Waysmeet, removing limitations to access. We created ramps to both doors of the building and installed new doors with push button openers on the inside and outside of both entrances.
The kitchen and old bathroom were removed, and in their place we created a small kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, and service area for refreshments for guests.
Beyond the kitchenette is a bathroom which is fully accessible to those with mobility limitations — a toilet with multiple grab bars and a large shower stall with grab bars and a seating unit.
We are thankful to all whose financial gifts to Pendle Hill have made these improvements possible so that we may truly welcome all.
Stay tuned as we begin to embark on major renovations to entrances, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, and dish room in Main House in the coming months.
