This recipe, from Cook Jason Comcowich, was requested by a former Pendle Hill resident who wants to create its delicious blend of flavors at home.
Ingredients:
- 1 small head red cabbage, cut into strips 1-2 inch long by 1/8 inch wide
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup roasted walnuts
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 pinch salt
Combine the cabbage strips, minced garlic, roasted walnuts, and raisins. Separately, mix together the tahini, honey, olive oil, and salt. Mix it all together.
