Directed by Jacqueline Coren, the Pendle Hill Chorus and special guests will present seasonal music from the 13th to the 21st century. The theme is drawn from one of the offerings, a selection from “Ballad of the Brown King” by Margaret Bonds, with text by Langston Hughes. The concert will include opportunities for audience participation and will conclude with a community sing-along.The program is entirely child-friendly, both in content and length. Please join us!

Musical Director Jacqueline Coren recently retired from George School in Bucks County, where she taught music, directed the student and community choruses, and was music director for school musicals for 23 years. Jackie founded the Pendle Hill Community Chorus in 1993. Now beginning its 27th year, the Chorus draws amateur vocalists from throughout Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. They offer two concerts a year, in the Spring and Winter.
All are invited to sing!
