Are you a Quaker Artist who would benefit from being a participant of a spiritual learning community while working on a creative project of your choice? Did you know that Pendle Hill provides annual Artist-in-Residence opportunities for ten to thirty weeks through its Minnie Jane Arts Scholarship?
As an Artist-in-Residence, you will be supported to focus on a project in fine arts, crafts, performing arts, creative writing, music composition, or another artistic pursuit that demonstrates commitment to Quaker values, spirituality, ministry, witness, or outreach in consultation with Pendle Hill’s Arts and Spirituality Coordinator.
You will also meet interesting people, eat meals lovingly prepared with local and organic ingredients, and have the option of attending various Pendle Hill educational events while residing on campus. Receiving access to the library at nearby Swarthmore College is also a possibility.
