In honor of World Quaker Day, Pendle Hill executive director Francisco Burgos will guide the community in dancing with queries being shared by Friends around the world, exploring the spirit of ubuntu in worship sharing.

The word ubuntu emphasizes shared humanity, deep connection, and care for creation and one-another. It is translated sometimes as “I am because you are” or “we are because you are.” It refers to the deeply held belief, morality, and custom that every person is worthy of being recognized, respected, and heard, and that we as human beings are interdependent.
