Enjoy an alcohol-free New Year’s Eve celebration, with hors d’oeuvres reception and home-cooked dinner, lively concert in the Barn, desserts, and midnight candlelight Meeting for Worship. (This event is included with your registration to either of our New Year’s retreats!)

This year, the concert will feature Annie Patterson performing and leading us in songs of celebration and renewal, giving space for healing and transformation through singing.

“Rise Up SInging” songbook

Annie Patterson’s voice, musicianship, and infectious enthusiasm have ignited audiences across North America and abroad for over three decades. She is the co-creator – along with her husband and the evening’s special guest Peter Blood – of the best-selling sing-along songbooks Rise Up Singing and its sequel, Rise Again.

A multi-instrumentalist, Annie’s musical repertoire ranges from folk and Blues to gospel and jazz. She performs as a solo artist and is also a member of the Dear Ella trio, the Joni Mitchell tribute band Big Yellow Taxi, and the swing band Girls from Mars. Annie has performed and/or toured with many other musical artists, including Emma’s Revolution, Charlie King, Magpie, Sally Rogers, Reggie Harris, Lou and Peter Berryman, Joe Jencks, and more. Annie and Peter’s work with peace activist and folk music legend Pete Seeger is documented in the film We Began to Sing.
