While most of the indigenous people of our area were driven away generations ago, there remain Lenni-Lenape people still living in historic tribal communities in the Delaware Bay region.
This lecture will discuss the continuing history of these Lenape communities, which merged with the closely related Nanticoke people of the Delmarva, shedding light on their current struggles and concerns. Read more
