Leader(s)

Cloud 9 has been developing community-led food access and farming programs in Philadelphia since 2012. Their programs include a healing garden program at a residential addiction recovery program, a high school rooftop garden club, a food pantry for low-income seniors, a community garden for low-income seniors, and a farm-based internship program for youth and young adults. The Cloud 9 team helps to cultivate vegetables, herbs, and flowers within their multifaceted programs while teaching organic growing methods, DIY projects and product making, and the importance of sovereignty over our food system. Each program is developed and managed in partnership with the community it serves.
