Join Friends Peace Teams co-founder Val Liveoak for a lively talk reflecting on the past 25 years of Friends Peace Teams’ work for peace throughout the world and a fresh look at what FPT volunteers are currently doing through Peacebuilding en las Americas.

Val LiveoakVal Liveoak worked professionally as a RN, and as a volunteer peacebuilder for over 30 years. She co-founded Friends Peace Teams and its Latin American Initiative, Peacebuilding en las Americas. She is an active member of Friends Meeting of San Antonio and serves as Co-Clerk. Val has also clerked South Central Yearly Meeting, and worked with FWCC, the Alternatives to Violence Project as well as Pendle Hill’s General Board and Pamphlets Committee.
