No registration required, but early arrival is recommended (these concerts are often Standing Room Only).
Please join the Pendle Hill Community Chorus for their holiday concert, “Love, the Guest,” December 18th from 8:00pm to 9:00pm in the Barn Meeting Room at Pendle Hill.
Directed by Jacqueline Coren, chorus and soloists will make an offering of music to open our hearts and lift our gaze to the promise of this season. Repertoire will include music by Daniel Pinkham, Hector Berlioz, Allen Naplan, Pentatonix, and Samih Shqer. As is traditional, there will be opportunities for audience participation during the concert as well as in our community sing-along that concludes the program. The evening is entirely child-friendly, both in content and length, and refreshments will be served afterwards.
Musical Director Jacqueline Coren recently retired from George School in Bucks County, where she taught music, directed the student and community choruses, and was music director for school musicals for 23 years. Jackie founded the Pendle Hill Community Chorus in 1993. Now beginning its 27th year, the Chorus draws amateur vocalists from throughout Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. They offer two concerts a year, in June and December. All are invited to sing!
