In early March 2019, six women gathered with fabric artist Asake Jones in an Arts & Spirituality program to reflect on Pendle Hill’s vision statement “To create peace with justice in the world by transforming lives.” From their reflections, each participant created a panel to be pieced together in the form of a mandala, quilted, and gifted to Pendle Hill for permanent display.

The finished work is ready to be revealed. Please join Asake and the PeaceMaking Quilters for the unveiling of the Pendle Hill Peace Quilt, which celebrates Pendle Hill’s enduring vision during its 90th anniversary year. Guests will be invited to prayerfully consider the same questions that inspired the artists in creating the work, and the quilt and its name will be revealed.

Refreshments will follow.
